Merge CPID function broken?

Or am I? Recently changed e-mail address and all projects except CPDN have synced up with my new CPID. I cannot edit the old CPID number in the "main" category and upon entering my new CPID in the 2nd category, no projects show up in the drop down menu. If not broken, what is the proper procedure?

A search of my username shows 2 accounts with the newer one showing the badges properly. Is there a way to delete both accounts and just re-register?

Any fix would be appreciated. Username and password have not been changed.
