Natali showed the 100 and 300k badges in the respective threat. So maybe they have not been activated yet.

Now they're live.  Or maybe nobody had 100K credit before.  Anyway, there's badges now.

SPT @ home seems to award badges now!

It looks like it's just the "top N%" badges, which come and go as your RAC changes.  Those aren't tracked here.

It doesn't look like they have permanent badges, at least not yet.

There's a news item on the WUProp forums about WUProp shutting down.  Since the same person runs this website, I fear this one is also going away.

While I and the larger BOINC community will certainly miss these services, I want to thank Sebastien for all he has given to BOINC over the years.  We appreciate all you've done!

VDW numbers just created badges, and they're exporting them in /stats.

NFS@Home has added two new apps and has two new sets of badges to go along with them.

It appears to be actively exporting stats and badges.

For what it's worth, Free-DC is now displaying the iThena badges.

I just got an an email telling me I earned a new PrimeGrid badge.  The email has the wrong badge image.  The signature itself has the correct badge, and the website here shows the correct badge.  It's just the email that's showing the wrong image.

The correct image is https://www.primegrid.com/img/badges/ap26_jade.png

The badge shown in the email is https://www.primegrid.com/img/badges/ap26_turquoise2.png

Attached is a screen capture of the email.

QuChemPedIA has just opened up to the public, and it's got badges.

The Drug Discovery badge reappeared today as silently as it disappeared many months ago.

That leave ATLAS as the only badges still missing.

No, you're not.

Be glad your badges are showing.  My DHEP badges don't appear here at all.  Neither do my Drug Discovery or Atlas badges.

As of today, my DHEP badges showed up.

My LCH is showing but Drug Discovery still isn't though Drug Discovery does show up correctly on "next badge" page.
Just thought I should mention this so the thread stays alive.

Interesting.

Approximately when did you earn you Atlas badges?

I was looking at the stats output from LHC and they although they're enumerating the badge types, they're not producing the file that says who has what badge.  Maybe they stopped producing that file at some point.

I think I got my Atlas credit near the end of 2018.  I'm guessing your badges were earned earlier than that?

EDIT:  It looks like LHC isn't producing the badge_users.gz file, which is where this information would normally come from.

The problem with badges from Acoustics@Home has been corrected from their end.

The Drug Discovery and LHC/Atlas problems remain.

LHC/ATLAS:

I understand that the "next badge" page can't show LHC badges, but surely the signature itself can?  I have earned two Atlas badges but they're not showing up here.

Drug Discovery:

Not showing up in signatures, although it used to.

Acoustics:

Although it shows up in the "next badge" page, it's not showing up in the signature.  This probably is Acoustics' fault, as they have some issues on their end and new badges aren't showing up on their site either.  It sounds like their badge assignment code is broken, or hasn't been automated yet.  I'm only mentioning it so you're aware of the situation.  I don't think there's anything you can do about it unless you want to assign badges based upon their credit scores.

Thanks,
Mike

I just noticed the same thing.  The Drug Discovery badges seem to have vanished

Not all of the new PrimeGrid badges are showing up for me.  I know they're showing up for at least some of people, so I'm not sure what's happening.  The XML export from PG seems okay.

I'm missing two badges:  badge ID 4 ("shut up"), and badge ID 42 "2018 TdP 1 Prime".  I know 42 is showing up in other user's signatures.

Sorry for making your job harder.  I've probably messed up the XML file somehow, although it does look correct after a cursory glance.

THanks,
Mike

They are publishing the normal BOINC statistics at https://boinc.multi-pool.info/latinsquares/stats/

For better of worse, they are using the same badge images as their sister project ODLK, which would make the signature banner somewhat ambiguous.

One detail I should have mentioned:

All the "counter" type badges are generated dynamically by the server the first time a particular instance of the badge is needed.

For example, for the Mega badge, there's currently a version for 1 mega prime, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 21, and 22 mega primes.  As soon as someone has 5 mega primes, a badge will be created for 5 mega primes, but it won't exist until that time.

It should be fixed now.

I was using the incorrect identifier in the badge_user.gz file.  All the badges previously read from that file were, therefore, incorrect.

The badge.gz file had the correct values.

It's all fixed now, and the files in the stats directory should have correct data.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for creating this wonderful service!

Best regards,
Mike

I'll look into it...

I've added a bunch of new badges at PrimeGrid which are not based on credit.

And I've made it easier for sites like this one to pick up the badge information.

In www.primegrid.com/stats you will find two new files, badge.gz and badge_user.gz.  They're very similar to the standard Berkeley XML and should be self explanatory.  Give me a shout if something is amiss.

The normal, credit based badges are NOT in those files; use the credit information to determine those badges.  I did, however, retroactively put all the TDP badges from previous years into the new files.  I have no idea how you got that information before, but it's got to be a lot easier now.

Also, if you didn't know, in the badge directory there's badges.zip so you can grab all the badge image files at once.

Regards,
Mike

Grid Computing Center (aka GoofyxGrid) now has the same problem.  it's four sub projects are gone, but it still has "rowspan=5".

25

(1 replies, posted in Bug reports)

In the last day, on the "Next Badges" page, the "14e" subproject was dropped from the NFS@Home project.

This means there are now 3 rows in the table for that project rather than 4.  However, ehe <td> tag for the "NFS@Home" table cell still has rowspan=4.

Here's the actual HTML:

<tr align="center" class="active"><td rowspan="4">NFS@home</td>

This is causing the next row (NumberFields@Home) to appear as part of NFS@Home, and, of course, it  extends an extra column to the right.
